clearcoat peeling off

the darn clearcoat is peeling off on my bed on the right side. what should i do?

Did it come off on it's own, or did you do something to it like I did with my '95 - i.e. took a 2900 psi washer to it and inadvertantly peeled back the clearcoat? This repair is pretty straight forward - if the basecoat is good, then the painter would just reclear it. Probably a $150 job, dependng on how big the surface requires refinishing.

lmao. no! i didnt do anything. especially nothing like that. my buddy first noticed it about a year ago around the side molding. just kinda bubbles then peels. ive never seen anything like this before. ill take a pic and post it.

for a 2000 model....I would definitely take it back to the dealer and raise hell, maybe they'll do something.
