Trailblazer Struts

I belive that my Trailblazer has struts. Anyway how do you know if they are going bad or need to be replaced? What is the average mileage?? Also is this hard to do or should I take it in and have it done??

How many miles? What is it doing that makes you think it is the front end? TB's have a coil over shock.

Its seams to be a little more bouncey than usally. A little rougher ride. I have about 25000 miles on it.
