05 O2 sensor bad after exhaust mod

I have an 05 Z71 with a check engine light indicating rear2 bank 2 O2 sensor bad. I recently had a flowmaster one in two out exhaust mod. Could this mod have caused a the sensor to go bad? Also, I am wondering if the warranty will cover it with the exhaust mod. Thanks for all input!

It could. What kind of mod? Is it an engineered one? If so just take it back to the dealer. If its a cut and piece than your maybe out of luck. Cant hurt to try tho.

what system did u put on...mine bolted on right after teh cat and i haven't had any problems with mine...yet

Took it to a muffler shop. They cut the pipe right at the stock muffler, installed a 1 in 2 out flowmaster. Sounds great!
