Camaro Concept

Just hope they don't price it too high.

:puke:

Well Lutz claimed it wasn't....

I hope when it comes out it has something better than a current LS2 in it, 400hp is great for 2005, but when the cobra mustang and the 8.1L challenger come out, that engine's not going to win any races with the same cam let alone boltons.

Oh how I hope that GM doesn't screw it up by the time it gets released!!!

Because that would bw sweet. A few design elements that could use a little tweaking, but overall cool car.

Give me hide away headlights baby!!

Fo reals, mang. And I agree that something a lil beefier than 400 ponies is going to be needed to keep up with the competition. Get rid of the bowtie badges and replace them with "SS" on the front and rear for the Z28s, also. Hope GM doesn't eff it up by the time it's to be produced. I still dig the Challenger though....

Com’on, GM needs to steal more DCX designers like Bryan Nesbitt to add some style into GM’s portfolio. Of course, my opinion only….The Camaro looks like a distasteful pissed off laser cut aisan kitchen appliance. At least GM has the world-class powetrain on their side.

My feeling is many GM loyalist will settle for this horrid looking so called Camaro out of desperation and desire for any GM RWD pony car wearing a bowtie. Not just any pony car...but a redneck American CAMARO. Who am I to sterotype a redneck when we are on a truck forum :D

The Challenger and ugh, I hate to say, Mudstain are nice looking pony cars while the Camaro, well....just looks like something GM would let out of their pathetic design studio. Geez, I think I am becoming a DCX guy more and more everyday.

Some of us really like the new Camaro. :D

And I'm not a Camaro guy.

I'm also about as far from redneck as you can get.

I really think the new camaro looks bad@ss and i have never really cared for them in the past. I might have to sell the truck to get one tho.

Looks slick to me. Of course I will agree that the Chrysler folks have been upping the ante on designs lately, but the Camaro is a potential nice shot to get GM to inch back on track.

I could do without the 22 and 21 inch wheels. I'd rather see 18" versions of the old Chevy Rallys. Hide-away headlights would be cool, too.

I love the new Camaro, I mean the GM styling guys really did their homework. It reminds you of the 1969 Camaro without actually ripping off the old design. Take any part off that car and throw it on a garage floor. You would be hard pressed to identify it as comming off a Camaro. Now try the same thing with the new mustang. Pick it up and you would say, Wow a mustang fender! The GM styling guys refused to cop out and just rip off the old design like Ford or Lamborghini with the new Mura. Lets give credit where credit is due.

Then new Vette has 400 hp, they won't let the Camaro share the same power. It will always be a step behind. Sad, but true.
