Intrument Cluster reset?

Hey I have a 2000 Chev. Silverado 2500 with the 6.0. The previous owner installed some NuImage white face gauges and got all of the gauges good except the fuel gauge and the speedo seems to be reading 7mph too low (causing the odometer to be off, making it seem like im gettin less then 10mpg!) Is there anyway to reset the gauges so they read correctly? If not, is there anything I can do besides changing out the whole cluster?

Thanks!

Hmmm, 2500, 6.0.... maybe you ARE getting less than 10 mpg.

Really though, what do the gauge faces have to do with the odometer being off? I'm guessing you're thinking he pulled the needles off and didn't get them on in exactly the same position? That wouldn't affect the odometer. It has no idea where the needles are pointing and really doesn't care. It gets its info based on the speed signal.

Does it have stock wheels/tires... or at least the same size? That would affect the odometer if the PCM was not recalibrated for the tire size.

Yes, the needles were taken off and not placed on correctly IE: when full the gas gauge reads a hair below the 3/4 mark. I thought the odo might be off relating to the speedo because you have to get rolling a good amount of speed before it even comes off the speedo stop. and at even 10mph on the speedo gps read 17mph and stayed about 7mph off. The tire size is 265/75R16 but when a 245/75R16 (stock size) was put next to it off the truck they were really close in size. It had 285/75R16 all terrains on it when I bought it and even with a superchips programer set for 285's it wouldnt read correctly. Right now I am seeing 185-195 miles per say 22 gallons of gas when I fill. I know my mileage drops with the ND winters, but it hasn't got below 20 degrees for a long time. In the summer with the 285's i was seeing 230-240 miles on the odo with the speedo reading wrong because of the bigger tires. Whats my next step here? New cluster? Bring it to the dealer and see what they can do? (Boss wouldnt be happy, I work at a chrysler dealership and my dad has been a manager there for 25+ years haha) Thanks for everything so far your great.

A dealer isn't going to mess with trying to get the needles in the right position. All they'll do is pull the cluster and send it to an authorized delco repair facility.
