I have a 2004 2500 HD and I can see fluid on the back of the transfer case where the driveshaft connects. Is this a bad seal? Do I need to address this now?

sounds like the rear seal . not to hard to do, i would fix it soon other wise you run the risk of running dry, and also oil sprying the underside of the truck.
