Got my first new vehicle...

Well the wife and I have been waiting a long time for this so this last weekend we bit the bullet and rolled off with an '06 Tahoe LS 4x4. :D

I squeezed it into the monthly budget and received a heck of a deal imo. GM Supplier Discount through my employer (so no haggling on set price), AND 0% for 72 months! Does it get any better? We are so stoked. Now we just have to look out for shopping carts, door dings, etc. Those things always stress me out as it seems most people don't give a flip about their bodywork. For the most part though it's the new baby and will be used as a Sunday driver and outing truck when not parked in the garage.

Most of you guys probably don't remember me since I haven't visited GM-Trucks.com in a long time, but I thought I'd share the good news anyway.

Thanks,

Roland

Congratulations. It is almost a bold thing to purchase a V-8 now days with the gasoline prices as they are! Regarding the dings, you might add fender flares if they aren't already there, and nurf bars of some sort. These two items really help the door ding protectors do their job.

The nurf bars are just high enough to help protect against the lower car doors, and the fender flairs assist when you are parked diagonally in a parking lot.
