Hello, I have the truck stated above and am having serious electrical trouble with it. For one the reverse lights are always on as well as the revers signal. Another problem is that the parking brake now nolonger works and sounds an alarm every time the key is turned to the run position. Any clues on where to start looking for issues would be great. Thanks.

Check out the rear light assembly, including the bulb housings and the wiring in the vicinity going to them. Things are probably corroded in the light assembly and or you got a bad ground connection causing a feedback.

I had thougt of that and replaced both lamp assemblies to no avial. Any chance the problem could be in the steering column? I dont know where the reverse lights get there signal from. If it somthing to do with that then it could also explain why the parking brake doesnt work either.
