Looking to finally upgrade the receiver in my 04 CC. Any recommendations? I would like to keep the steering wheel controls if possible, and keep the price < $300. Would also like to have an aux input to add my mp3 player if possible.

Not sure but I believe if you change the reciever you will not be able to use the wheel controls.

I bought a Pioneer DEH-P4800MP CD/MP3/WMA Player and a PAC SWI-PS - Pioneer and Sony Steering Wheel Radio Control Interface. Will install this weekend.

They have interface boxes that will allow the OEM steering wheel controls to continue to work like with my AVIC-D1. However, I don't think it can be done for less than $300.

Won't know until I install it and program it, but from reading the instructions, you individually program the volume up, volume down, mute, track up/seek up, track down/seek down, source, preset up/disc up, preset down/disc down, band. You skip those that don't apply.
