I just came home with Olivia, an '05 GMC Yukon XL 2500 4x4x4 (4 wheel drive & 4 wheel steering). She has the 6.0 engine and all the SLT goodies. She was a GM Company car, and I got her with 6,800 miles on her. Olivia is Sport Red Metallic with the pewter interior, and is like new inside and out. The Quadrasteer Subs and Yuks have the roof marker lights, rear splashguard marker lights, and three red marker lights above the rear LED stop light. The Quadrasteer is absolutely amazing! Olivia can make a u-turn in the same space as a Honda Civic. I think GM will rue the day that they dropped Quadrasteer.

Olivia is replacing my beloved Petunia, an '01 Suburban 2500 in Victory Red with 115,000 miles on her. Petunia's predecessor was a '96 Tahoe named Annabelle. I guess that you can get the drift that our GM trucks are cosidered family members. My wife's '04 Tahoe is named Matilda. Matilda is also Sport Red Metallic, making an interesting garage scene at our house. Our son in Atlanta drives an '01 Tahoe, and our son in Jacksonville drives an '05 Yukon.

I'm thinking about a cold air intake for Olivia; any suggestions?

What did your two sons name their trucks? And how come your trucks are always female names?

WELCOME!!!!! Congradulations on your Quadrasteer! I think you will find that once you driven a quadrasteer for a while that driving a regular truck just seems limited. I love the way people cock their heads when they see those rear wheels turning. Some things to watch out for with the QS trucks is that when you have the rear end serviced make sure they order the correct lubricant as it is totally different than the lubricant they put in the regular trucks. I sent you an email with a link to a Quadrasteer site that has alot of specific information relating to our trucks. Well good luck with it! :dupe:

The '01 Tahoe in Atlanta is Named Agnes, and the '05 Yukon in Jacksonville is named Fern. As far as why female names, I'm not really sure. It just got started that way and I've stuck to it. We do have some male vehicles in the family. We have Norman ('56 Ford Thunderbird), Ichabod or Ikky for short ('58 BMW Isetta), and Harvey ('81 DeLorean).
