trans temp light

Never have. Even pulling a trailer in 115 Degree heat my trans has never overheated. Did yours indicate an overtemp? If so maybe your fluid is low or the trans is slipping. If you don't have an auxilliary cooler it may be a good investment.

No mine never came on and I have the factory cooler, I was just wondering about it.

Is that picture of your truck in Phoenix around 56 st and greenway?

The trans overtemp should never come on unless there's either something wrong with your transmission, you're hauling/towing without using tow/haul mode, or you're pushing it too hard (like towing up a hill on a really hot day). But, as long as you have the aux cooler and keep the fluid/filter changed as prescribed it shouldn't be an issue.

(oh, the pic was taken way out in East Mesa)
