Ok, found this in the archives: When this DTC sets, the results is that the PCM commands full line pressure to the trans in an attempt to prevent damage, which you don't notice until you come to a stop and then pull away and it makes it's first shift, which is usually neck snapping hard.

Cycling the key off will clear this problem, though not the DTC. A valve body problem is possible. Pretty common actually.

Lets say this is the problem, how much to fix this? Can I do it myself or should I take it in?

not really, you can drive it like that for a long time. now remember that est is about what it would cost at a dealer. You might try a checking around with other shops. I know i can get a valve body for about 1-2 hundred $

no i would say 75% there are other thing it can be (torque convert, a soleniod, wire harrness, stuck valve are some of the other thing that can cuase this), but most of the time when i am handleing a warranty claim the valve body is what is wrong...the only way i could be 100% to to check it out my self, or have some check it out a give me the specs
