So my flowmaster cat-back, dual out rear, finally broke about 3 months ago. One of the pipes broke off right at the muffler and was un-fixable, if that's even a word. SO I ordered a new system from Summit Racing on Wenesday, and it arrived today! Nice job Summit! It's a dual out the side, in front of the right rear wheel. But d**n if UPS didn't 'f' up the thing in the process. big dent in the side of the muffler, and actually punctured it! Luckily Summit was cool and they are sending me a new muffler on Monday. UPS seems to screw me on a weekly basis. At work, I receive something shipped from a subcontractor almost daily. And ever package looks like they drug it there behind the truck, through a mine field, and finally through a couple sewage treatment plants. Bastards!

Here in MI the USPS usually does the sewage treatment / minefield / dick chaney hunting trip deal.

In comparison, UPS treats the packages like they might actually have something valuable in them.

I have always have problems with damaged and flithy boxes from UPS.

FedEX and USPS (preferred) no problems sending nor receiving.

Try sending stuff with UPS at a UPS counter...what package Nazi's. You can not seal the box. They MUST inspect the contents. Of course they pull the stuff out and it won't go back in. They insists on repacking the contents themselves. So it bulges out the box and then they force the box flaps closed and then expends the entire roll of packing tape on it (trying to get that extra pound charge).

When UPS had their strike...Summit Racing sent my packages USPS...got the package quicker and without tire marks.

We ship and receive alot of boxes from UPS at work. The one complaint I have, is the boxes are in aweful shape by the time they reach their target. Most of the boxes we get are deformed and are black(their normal color is brown).

I used to work for a major UPS hub back when I was in college...I know EXACTLY what happens there! Controlled chaos to put it nicely. I was amazed at the volume of packages years ago. Now that online sales has boomed it must really be a nuthouse. :(
