So that means that you have no experience with them. Didn't ask if you like the website, I am more curious about experience pulling ferrous metals out of a new motor and trapping them into the oil filter.

i have used somthing that is similar to this on every engine i have ever had

 

and yes i think it works but all it really is is a magnet so it keeps small metal particles in the filter and out of ur oil

Let me see. You have a magnet at the drain plug that works great why would you want another? Wouldnt that be excess?

If you go by the OLM and use good Oil and Filter your engine should last 250000mi. To me that will out last the body. Thats 15000mi average and you will still be driving that OLD truck in 16 years. You will be tired of that truck before then.

good good point but alot of other cars/trucks done have that magnet IE all of my others

 

so yes it dose work the same as the plug w/mag

 

but just check to make sure that your plug is a magnetic one before buying or making one for ur car/truck

looks to me like the magnet they put on the fuel system that is supposed to extend your gas milage. But if you think about it, if you have enough metal in your oil to need an additional magnet, you have more problems then changing the oil will fix.
