I get my mower filters both oil and fuel for about $8.00 and $4 for the air filter.

I just picked up a case of AC Delco filters for my car off of Ebay believe it or not. It was cheaper than any parts place in town could match. Couldn't find my truck's size though, gmpartsdirect.com isn't bad if you buy enough to make up for shipping cost.

 

As for quality of filter, do a search here and you'll find some lengthy threads on the subject.
