A couple of new ideas

I was cleaning my pick-up this weekend and noticed alot of rock chips on the rocker pannels. I was thinking maybe I could get Line-X sprayed on them. You probibly couldn't even see it. My second idea was to change the grill out for one from a Suburban. So what do you think?

I've seen the line-X sprayed on the rocker panels on several trucks.  None of them were black however, so it showed up without really having to look.  I think it would be a great idea on a black truck to help save the rocker panels.  Might be a good idea to get the wheelwells done as well, they take a beating.

my suggestion is to forget about the burb grill.  WHy pay so much for plastic

I have also been thinking of this since last weekend when I got rock chips behind the rear wheels from the gravel road.

 

Don't they do bedliners in the same color as the trucks?  Why couldn't they spray the rocker panels with a color matched rubberized spray.  I think it would be better looking then mud flaps.

 

Anybody know of a company that does this type of thing?
