Just bought a 04 Suburban! Need suggestions...

I just purchased a white 2004 Chevy Suburban LT. It has about 31K miles and is in great shape. I pick it up tomorow!

I'm looking for a grille guard and some rubber floor mats for the burb. I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have. I am planning on taking out the 3rd row seat and leaving it out so I'll need a larger mat.

Congrats! I have an '00.

 

Not sure about a full mat that covers the area occupied by the third row; I have a piece of scrap carpet that I cut out to fit. Looks great! Go by your local carpet store and ask them if they have any remnants, you can usually get them cheap.

I've had a Go Rhino guard on the front of my Silverado for a number of years with no complaints...other than some rust due to Great Lakes winters. Of course mine is black. For the time it's been on the truck, it's held up reasonably well.

About the grille guard: recommend you get one made of polished 304 stainless steel. I had a black powder coated grill guard on my Nissan and it started rusting after several years. Of course, this was in coastal Florida.
