What is the GM part number for a 2500 Instrument Panel Cluster w/trans temp gauge for a swap into a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500? Do you know if it has the full DIC enabled?

Don't know the answer, but you can also use the SS cluster. I have a white truck and the white face SS cluster really looks good and you also get the transmission temp guage and full DIC function.

I want to see the price difference. Just checking out all my options. The SS Cluster is really nice but at 300.00 + 100.00 for the odo recalibration it's hard for me to justify at the moment. I hate to throw away good working parts just to upgrade. I believe the 2500 cluster for the 99-02 is almost half the price compared to the model year SS Cluster. Now US Speedo will install a trans temp gauge in my current cluster for 175.00 and the white gauge face costs about 100.00 anywhere you go but it doesn't have the full DIC enabled. I have read where people have a hard time reading the white faced SS cluster at dusk and dawn also.

You'll want to go with a pre-2005 or 2004 DIC to retain all the features. GM cut back on some of the DIC features with the 04 or 05 MY for who know's what reason.
