Prestone Flush Kits

I just cut in a Prestone Flush & Fill Kit in my 98 Suburban, anyone else used these?

I cringed cutting my heater hose thinking of another place to leak,I guess they tested thier plastic?Also put in a Motorad Fail Safe Thermostat ,Locks open if overheated.

I have 150,300 miles on the 350 Vortec......................hope to get more..........thanks guys for the input !!!

I have used the Prestone flush kit on a Jeep Cherokee and Buick Century with no problems.

I used one for my 88 K1500. This was in the early-mid 90's. The only thing I would make sure of is that you carry a spare "T" fitting. Mine distorted over time and started leaking. This happened twice. I finally put the third one in and it's still going strong after about 5 years. I don't know if I had tightened the hose clamps too tight on it or if they are made out of a different plastic now. Just my .02!
