Newbie to Chevy forums tranny question

[06 Z71 FLA]

I bought a new 06 Silverado 1500 Z71 last weekend, and I noticed that as I drive down the interstate in 2L I get a roll-over noise from the transfer case. It will stop if I ingage the auto 4wd. If I switch it back to 2L, the noise will come back after a while. Anyone else have or had this problem yet? Sorry, if this has been asked before, but I didn't find anything in search.

Welcome, that's odd usually any driveline/transfer case type noise would be noticeable in 4wd.

Also a newbee. Also have a front end noise sounded like a bearing. Turns out it is a front differential problem. Still trying to remedy. And yes 2wd is when I too hear the noise. 06 Silverade Crew Cab 4x4 with 3500 miles. Check my post for a detailed dealer encounter!
