97 GMC 5.7 3.42 rear. Stock as GM made it (except for the stainless steel manley valves) Did a valve job at 85K because the heads leaked oil at the drainback holes in the head.Truck has 105K on it. I just recently changed the FPR and fuel pump as it wouldn't hold pressure in the rail.

99 3/4 ton stock except 2006 3/4 ton aluminum wheels. 22 pounds a piece lighter than stock steal may make a slight difference in mileage and performance.

I have the old TBI, but I did have a topper on with about 2 and 1/2 sheets of 3/4" 4x8 sheets of plywood with 2x6's and tools so the weight is similar to a burban. 3.73's 265/75/16's and over 200k and I get around 11-12 mostly city. Worst tank ever was 4.4mpg and best was 18.1mpg.
