True dual exhaust

Any one know of true dual exhaust kits I can mail order for my 6.0?  Or must I get two flowmasters, and go to a muffler shop.

I have been looking for the same thing. They have them for the 5.3 and the 4.8 ,but they have single inlet mufflers. With the 6.0L we have a dual inlet muffler. I have sent email to gibson borla and flowmaster . None of them make a kit for the 6.0L . You can get a split rear but know true duals. I done some checking though and a true dual done at a muffler shop

is going to cost you around 300 buck or less. Let me know if you find something else

I wonder if this muffler from DynoMax would be a correct fit for the 6.0L Guys...  ???  The stock muffler on my 6.0L has a can that is 25" long.  The part #17515 would be a little short, but a small spacer pipe could be added.

ok now were are getting some where. You ad reducers or a cross over in front of the muffler . find a tail pipe to go out the other side ( just have the muffler shop do that part, much cheaper)Waalaa dual exhaust. food for thought

Heck,  I was thinking just the muffler from DynoMax would do the job...  (granted it wouldn't be duals), but we already have a beautiful 3 1/2" ID slash cut tailpipe on the 6.0L that would be more than capable to carry the flow out the rear.  :D

I have been looking at Banks.  They have some really nice (and expensive ~$500) cat backs.

A custom setup from an exhaust shop will usually be much cheaper, but you probably can't get mandrel bends and stainless steel.

I bought a Hooker Aero Chamber muffler, from Summit for less than $70, with dual 2 1/2" inlets and one 3" outlet. It took 2 - 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" adapters on the front and a 3"x 2 3/4" for the rear. Cost to install = $18.

Hooker also makes a dual in, dual out Aero Chamber. I went with the first one concerned about loosing low-end. I haven't driven enough miles to see if MPG has improved.

Please, for the love of god, use a cross over pipe.

You will equalize pressure between the two cylinder banks and gain torque and throttle response from it.

I'm just tired of people thinking that "true dual" pipes that never connect are the best thing around.  Tests have proven them wrong.

I'm just gonna pass my 2 cents on about my Dynomax experiance. I had the 17228 Ultraflow welded muffler on my truck, with and with out dumps and I did not like the cab resenonce at highway speeds. I do think it was a kick butt performing muffler, but just not to my liking. I went with true dual Magnaflows and have no complaints.

I'm not interested in having any cab resonance.  I wonder if the DynoMax dual in dual out muffler would be the same?

Does anyone else know of an aftermarket muffler that would be dual in dual out?  I don't really want to hack up my stock exhaust very much, and would like to just replace the "can"...
