Dixie Horn

Hey guys, I know some of you have the dixie horn on your trucks, you know, the horn on the General Lee. I've been looking into getting one for my truck, and have a couple questions.

Where did you buy it?

How much was it?

How happy are you with it?

Where did you mount it?

I've seen a model made by Wolo, and I've heard about it that you have to hold on your horn button the entire time that it is playing. Is this true for anyone who has this model?

That's all I've got for now, but I'm sure I'll think of more questions.

I got one from JC Whitney about 8 years ago, looks to be the same model. On mine you had to hold the horn button down for the duration of the song (12 notes I think). It lasted a few years before one or two of the notes went out. Fun while it lasted though.

I was afraid of that. Does anyone know a way around this? Some kind of system I could rig up so that I need only touch the button once to play the 12 notes?
