Drivetrain fluids?

Does anyone know the factory recommended fluids for the transfercase?

Front/Rear Differential?

 

I haven't been able to find anything at parts houses.

Mark - did you check your owners manual? It should say in there what to use.

I checked, carried it to Autozone,Advance,Napa,Carquest, and a local independent, and they said they couldn't get the transfer case fluid.  

 

My question is, what is GM Auto transfer case fluid?  ATF,Gear Oil, etc?

 

Has anyone used anything other than GM?

More than likely it is gear oil, probably 80W90, but I'm not possitive either. I'll just grab mine from a Chevy dealer when I'm ready to do it.

Get the blue goo (blue fluid) from your gm dealer to change the t case
