PAC OS-1 Onstar Retention Interface Installation

I ordered my new head unit (Pioneer DEH-6800MP) with a PAC OS-1 from crutchfield but i was missing the OS-GM21 harness that runs from the OS-1 unit to the cars 21 pin harness. . I'm assuming i could splice the 16 pin end from the OS-1618 wire that im not using to the free 21 pin wiring adapter crutchfield sent me. I called crutchfield about the missing harness and they said they would have to order it from PAC and i would have it in about 2 weeks but im the impatient type lol.

Well i spliced the two harnesses together and everything went well. The hardest part of the install was gettin the dash out.

 

 

Now i just need to do something about that tape deck. I was thinking about puttin in a CB.
