Are yours chrome or aluminum?

Only one way to shine em up, and thats either Eagle wheel polish, or the like.

Youll have to work it tho, it aint easy.

Then you can wax em to keep em shiny for a while.

Dihappy my wheels are the polished aluminum. i only wish i could have aforded chrome wheels. they always shine. they were way out of my price range.

I used flitz on my wheels. It is the only thing that made them shine again. Thanks to "rikhek" (I think that's how you spell his nickname) I got my wheels back in shape. Do a search on wheels or wheel cleaners.

Mothers mag and aluminum polish works well, but expect to do a lot of rubbibg and wiping off. Its a typical characteristic of polished aluminum to need maintenance like that to keep it new looking, but the Mothers works ok. If they are real bad, may want to use something more agressive to start out then go progressively finer to save some time. The Mothers is ultra-fine for the finish polish, so it would take forever to take out a scratch with it, but will turn a lightly hazed wheel into a mirror finish. Do one pass with it, and they will look good. Do another, and they will get progressively newer looking. I like to follow up with a wax when Im done.

Yeah, that would be me (i.e., rikhek)!  The link to the thread on the Flitz polish is:

Also, my experience has shown Mothers or Eagle polish or any others work about as well as tap water when compared to Flitz.  There just is no comparison.  I think I've tried every product available and Flitz is in a league of its own.

Mothers chrome polish. I use it on everything, nerf bars, side trim, bumpers, mirrors, chrome exhaust tips and even my bowtie 2" reciever plug. Rubs on like a wax and rub it off. The water beads up on it. Love the stuff.
