I know how some people here feel about pewter but I was wondering what everyones favorite truck color is? I like pewter but i wanted something different so i went with the Victory Red/Graphite combination. I came close to getting a Sunset Orange Metalic that I saw on a lot too. but it was gone the next time I went in.

I do have a soft spot for black.. Its SUCH a nice looking colour when its clean and shiny..  But you will almost never get that same black finish after you have driven it off the showroom floor..  Lately i m getting into rather pewter, white or gm's indigo blue...  My next vehicle i m going to guarantee isnt going to be black!! Even though its a nice colour clean its probably the worst for when its dirty because it looks like crap..

This is going to shock a lot of people.

I agree with Frank.  Summit white is my favorite although I am a big fan of the pewters....I will go one step further on Frank though ...I like the two-tone combinations..in fact I think I like pretty much any two tone over any single color.  Frank, if you disagree, just edit in what you think I should like....

I've always liked a two tone truck too... My dad had an 84 K20 that was apple red with doeskin tan in the middle. and then he had a 86 K10 that was apple red with the doeskin tan on the bottom. I liked the 84 better. I don't know why you can't get a two tone now...

For practical reasons I like the Pewter.  (Super easy to keep clean).  I almost bought a dark Carmine red but I think it would have always looked "dusty".  As far as 2-tone my favorites are Summit white with pewter (like Newbies), or black with pewter.  With the 2-tone I think you have to have the pewter flairs too...  It really sets the truck off (sorry Newbie)

I agree Shaners, the flares would like good and I kick myself for not getting them when I bought the truck.  It would have been ALOT cheaper than adding them on now...I have looked at them from Bushwacker, etc. but just havent been able to justify the cost (for you single guys that's married for "talk my wife into buying them").

NEWBIE let me talk to her for ya.

I am good at explaining why i need this and that for my truck to my parents and gf.

Tonight i had to explin to my dad why i need new shocks.  Hes not convinced since his factory shocks have almost 100K on them (they are shot now though)

I am trying to talk my mom into a bug deflector for her blazer.  I got her to tint her windows though.

In all honesty, the color of a truck makes almost no difference to me, all the colors GM puts on their vehicles look good to me.  However, red or dark green I like the most.  Dad has a pewter one, but most of the time you don't see most of the paint anyway.

As for some of the colors on other makes, such as the yellow on Ford Escape, I'll keep my opinion to myself.

I like pretty much any color as long as its SILVER.  Never been a pewter fan b/c it's so close to silver but it's not really.  I've always had non-color vehicles: silvers, blacks, grays, gray/silver two-tones, etc.
