Car wash depression

Everytime I go to the car wash or wash the truck myself I get depressed at all of the new chips and dents. I'm careful as hell but the dump trucks drop crap on the freeway that chips away at the paint. Last week a huge rock was thrown onto my hood that dented and chipped the hood The deflector helps some, at least the inches behind it look good.

 

I hate seeing the truck dirty but I also hate the dents and chips. Maybe the shrink has medicine for this problem, pop a pill 2 hours before cleaning vehicle and it will be all OK.

I have the same problem except I dont go throught the car wash, QS Trucks have a wider rear track than normal and the one near me does not fit the truck. I hand wash and it is heatbreaking everytime I find a new scratch or parking lot ding (and I park it way out in the boondocks). It never fails, I park way away from everyone and some assh*le has to park right up on my door and *POW*. It never ever gets easier but maybe if we are lucky we will become numb after a while. I was actually considering a visit to the dent doctor eventually.

Yeah that does suck. I had some one put a 6" crease in my left front fender, just weeks after I bought the truck. I should of taken the force shield option.
