New JL setup in 06' Tahoe

Well.. i just put in the order for my center console sub enclosure for my 06 tahoe. After doing some research, and finding out that a custom setup would be too much $$ for what i wanted done...i decided on the center console box by JL audio to keep that clean look im after. It'll be hidden inside the center console, and supposedly it sounds great..

 

I'll keep you guys updated..

 

I now have a dual sub box with JL 10W3V2's for sale if anybody's interested in SoCal. =)

How much? You going to do it your self? What amp are you running? Keeping the stock system? Have Bose? Onstar?

 

I have an 06 and wanting some subs, cant decise between that setup or the set up that goes under the rear seat?

for now, im going with the stock system.. im eventually going to get the eclipse avn5495, or avn6600.

 

my system right now is the bose setup with onstar/xm. Im running my JL 500/1 amp, and i plan to hide that in the rear drivers side panel.. I have the bucket/captain 2nd row seats, so putting a box under the 2nd row is out of the question. plus, i want to be able to utilize my cargo space with out hassling with and exposed sub box..

I used to work at a JL dealer and we installed the center console sub in a few trucks & suv's. It was the the obs (96,97), but they did sound great. If you are looking for a very hard hitting, loud sub system it probably wont be enough. But if you just want a very nice, balanced sounding system I think you will be very happy. I have a jl 10w4 in a sealed box I built under my rear seat (2000 silverado ecsb) with 200 w rms & love it. Keep us updated.
