Remote Start

Anyone have an idea which remote start units are compatible with a 2004 Silverado? The reason I ask is I've seen a lot of vehicles go back after getting an after market remote start installed because the vehicle will not start because of the anti-theft security system thinking it was being stolen and refusing to let the vehicle start. Just wondering what others are using. Thanks.

i have a clifford being put on my 05 denali next week, the passlock system is whats giving the vehicle problems, if you install a good alarm you wont have this problem, I am having remote start installed also.

Pretty much any decent remote start will work as long as they use the 457G module.

I have the Clifford Responder with remote start and remote windows. One remote already took a crap on me, but besides that it works good.

ok then Viper and clifford are the same company.......along with Directed, PPI, Orion, and many others... My clifford was $550 sys and install

Ultrastart..............fob closely resembles oem unit and a lot of gm delaers install and sell this unit
