1996 push button 4x4 dash light

Dear GM tech,

 

I have a 1996 K1500 with the dash mounted push button 4x4. The problem I am having is that the small orange engagement indicator light on the 4HI and 4LO side of the button do not light up when the 4x4 is engaged and the back lighting behind the whole button itself does not light up. The odd thing is that the orange indicator on the 2HI side does light up. I know the 4x4 is working properly still because its been this way a year but I want it fixed. Is it as simple as pulling the dash off and replacing a light bulb or does the whole switch need to be replaced.

Sorry, I really don't know the answer to that. My guess is that the indicator lights are not replaceable.
