Do shocks that have an adjuster on them work?  If so which do most of you guys recommend, ProComp, Rancho, etc....

Yes they work great, I have Rancho shocks on all fours and it's nice to be able to tune them on the go for the best ride. If you're not exactly sure what you're doing with the ride and you don't want to play with it though, I don't know if it would be a good idea to get, you might end up with a worse ride than before...
