bajakid2 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Hey,i have a 2000 silverado and i was wondering if some bose speakers out of an 04(door ones) would work in mine?would they hook straight up and sound okay or would my truck need the bose amplifier and what not?also i was wondering if i got the tweeter pillars out of a 04 and put them in mine and wired up the tweeters would they work?also i was wondering what i would need to install the Denali 6 disk changer were my tape player is now...like what cord would i need to have it connect to my pioneer headunit?Thanks alot for all the help....-Travis
Wingnut Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 If you want to do all that, buy aftermarket stuff. It will be cheaper, and sound better than anything that's spelled "BOSE".

Neither will the Denali 6 disc changer. The 6 disc CD changer will only work if its hooked up to the factory stock head unit.
2kwolfgang Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Bose generally don't sound good at all. They sound much worse without the Bose processing gear that goes along with most all of their speakers.
