2000 Yukon Denali Stopped Running, while Driving

I am in a big jam. I have a Yukon Denali, 2000 model (old body style) and I was driving it down a busy road on Tuesday and the engine just died. I went to give it gas and noticed it didn't go anywhere, so then I looked at the RPMS and they were at 0. So I pulled over to a gas station as quick as I could.

 

I now can't get the car to start back up and the repair shop was supposed to have it fixed yesterday. Problem is that on Wends night I purchased a used Surburban and have to have this car to them, fixed, by this weekend. The shop is saying it doesn't have spark, and they are running out of time to get it fixed for me. I really need help with this.

 

They say the Fuel Pump is working, but they relayed to me its not getting spark.

I forgot to mention that the Check Engine light didn't come on and there are no error codes in the system. So this makes no sense to me.

You need to monitor the cranking RPM's on a scan tool while cranking. If it is 0 then the most probable problem is the crank sensor. I is mounted just above the starter.
