Two Kills, one day(one bad driver included)

I'm going south on 169, and pass some 89ish Chevy extended cab, lifted with swampers. looked like it has had a feww off-roading accidents, blowing a little smoke. well this guy sees me moving in the middle lane to get by him and floors it. being a previous owner of a TBI 350, I wasn't exactly worried, I went to 50% throttle and swiftly blew by him. a minute or two later, a while after I had gone back to crusing speed as I was about to exit the highway, he catched up and gets in front of me. After the exit ramps I pass him again mainly because I didn't like the msell of burnt oil. I think he had just be messing with me to see the camaro go, but whatever.

 

Later, I'm at an intersection and there is no one else there. then, some 96ish Integra pull up next to me, he's in the "right lane MUST turn right" lane. I rigure he's gonna turn, like any normal person woul do. after a minute goes by, he hasn't turned, and I noticed he's snickering with his passenger. This doof thinks he's gonna jump me? no,, not even a ricer can be that stupid.....the light turns green, I hear his wheels spinning and 4 banger screaming like an angry kitten. I was expecting this so I hammer down and let him hear a Lion....by the time wwe got to the other side of the intersetion I had finally got my camaro's rear end to quit squirming and I was at the speed limit(roughly), 35 MPH(no point in breaking the law when I've already won!), and around a couple of CL's ahead. I left off, cause the lane is ending, but no, the moron still has the weedeater floored and is trying to cut me off. I blip the trhottle just lonmg enough to let him know how it's gonna be.

 

A few miles later, I guess he had to look good for his buddy, he backs off and then floors it to pass me in a no passing zone(beginning to feel he dosen't understand road sigins or lane stripes), and is so intent on cuttiong me off that he dosen't notice there is a ford ranger DIRECTLY in from of me, and was less than a foot of sideswiping the ford, with a full hard in turn, so we swerves back into the oncoming lane, floors it again, nearly going into the ditch on the other side of the road and passes the ranger and tears off into the night. GOOD RIDDANCE!

I got SPANKED by a weedeater the other day. He slapped 3 cars on me at the word go, and by the time we hit 100, he was 100 yards ahead of me.

Yup, and look at the aerodynamics of that sucker, it cuts through the air like a knife through hot butter. And with those 9" wheels, i bet that sucker can really launch outta the hole too.

As I said to someone else before, there are more and more turbo ricers on the street now than ever. They are able to afford the older cars that either have the turbos already or are turbo charging them later. These cars are running 12s consistantly and some are in the 10s and 11s.

 

Not hard to make a turbo go super fast...A/F and boost controller and upgraded fuel system. Add to that an up pipe, down pipe and possibly a larger turbo and you have an 11 second car.
