AC Delco Cabin Air Filter

I recently pick up a set of replacement cabin air filters for the 'burb, AC Delco CF104, GM part # 52485513.

 

I noticed there is not a direction arrow for air flow on these filters. Does it make any difference as to how they are installed? I installed them with the writing toward the rear of the truck, with the writing reading "up".

As far as I know, there isn't a set way for em...so long as you put them in the same way every time if you take them out and clean em.

I have an 02 GMC ext cab truck and replaced mine the other week. I bought them from autozone(I do not remember the part# right now) and they did have arrows on them. I installed them with the arrows pointing towards the drivers side.

My '02 Sierra which is about as basic as they get has the filters and as I recall when I replaced mine (with Bosch Filter) there was a directional arrow.
