Hello all, well, what we have here is yet another Ford convert....lol.... yep, I just bought my first GM. Now don't throw things at me, at least I was open to the idea. Actually, with the exception of one Toyota and one Dodge Dakota, all I've driven are Fords so this is new territory for me. But my girlfriend (soon to be fiance) is a die-hard GM fanatic, she drives a '73 vette, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Seriously, I just bought an '04 GMC Sierra 1500 ex-cab 4-door from my dad. Only has 32,000 miles but he needed a write off for his business so a new truck for him meant a new one for me! So far I really like this truck. Has the 5.3L in it and I actually just ordered the new Fram Boost (I hear good things about it so far) and will be looking for other little "pep" mods I can do relatively inexpensively. The truck already looks great, hope to get a pic of it up here soon, so performance mods will pretty much be all I'll be looking for.

About me, I'm 37 years old, live in Northwest Arkansas, no kids, got the bad marriage out of the way early on and am now making room in my life for the "right" one. Other than the new truck I also have an '05 Yamaha V-star 1100 Silverado that I spend a lot of time on.
