Rear Diff Fluid

I was going to change my rear diff fluid this weekend, but I find it is difficult to get the filler plug to turn.

 

Seems like I am just stipping the hole in the plug by forceing it.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions? My Truck is a 99 Sierra Extended Cab 4x4.

heat it.... but if you dont have an oxy/acet torch, pay someone to get it off and replace the plug with a new one
