6.0 VMAX Tuning

Hey brothers.. Just traded in my 03 silverado for a new 06 CC Vmax. It's off to the surgeon right now for a lift and some 33"s.

 

I drove one with this lift at another dealer this weekend and it seemed to really (still!) move with the bigger/heavier tires. Quite impressed with the out of the box performance. Anyway - been following some other threads on the jessie tune and was wondering if anyone here has done it on the 6.0 yet - what results/happiness etc.

 

I'll figure on getting a magnaflow exhaust in the near future too to help out in that area. I had one on my 03 (with a lift) and i was pretty happy with what I thought... were some gains, response and overall sound.. Not too loud, but deep enough to make the rig sound like it looked... whahahah.

none yet i've heard of, but it's my hope most things are interchangeable with other LQ9 equiped trucks denali, ss and such to keep cost down. instead of a oddball one model year thing before switching to the 6.2L

I just talked to Bryan today at PCM for less and I am going to have him do mine.Go over to the SS forums and read up a bit over there.Looks like all the SS people seem to like this Bryan's tunes.

I actaully just posted over there about towing heavy.To post you will have to join that web site.I guess its different but it links off this one.Check it out.They get pretty serious with their SSs witch have our engines.
