I'm in the process of replacing the a/c hoses due to a little leak. The conversation came up with my son who is in HVAC for homes about r12 v r134a. I was going to go with the 134a but he then said that mp39 is the direct replacement for r12 and is what they use in refrigerators.

 

Has anyone used the mp39?
