what year interiors are charcoal vs graphite?

As best I can tell, the current bodystyle Silverado/Sierra can be had with 2 different color "dark" interiors. The early trucks are charcoal and the later ones are dark graphite. Does anyone know what year they changed? I'm trying to find some interior parts that match my dark graphite '06, but I need to know what year trucks I should be looking at.

Mine is an '04 (Sierra) and is listed as dark pewter.

fwiw, my interior trim code is 69D, which is listed as CLOTH, VERY DK PEWTER (D) (03) in the RPO list.

So, I guess the question should be when did the color change from charcoal to dark pewter?

*edit* to add some more info, my co-worker has a '99 GMC Sierra with the dark interior, and his trim code is 122, LEATHER, GRAPHITE (2) (96)

My GMC Sierra is RPO 69I and lists as very dark pewter. I believe they are all similar, but if looked at carefully in good lighting you will see small shade differences.

I'm beginning to think that NothinButBowTies is correct and that '03 is the first year of dark pewter, but hopefully he will post his trim code to confirm. If any of you other guys reading this have an '03 with the dark interior and would post your trim code I'd appreciate it.

That is the first thing I will do tonight when I get home. I did not take the truck to work today.
