CD player

I am looking for some help with a cd player issue on my 04 Tahoe. Intermittently after start up the CD player will start playing a random track at 3/4 to full volume. This happens when the vehicle was parked with the cd player in radio mode. It seems that the cd player memory thinks it was previously playing a cd when in fact the radio was used last. The dealer has replaced the radio/cd player and checked the wiring between the steering wheel controls and the head unit. The dealer also claims that the remote key fobs are confusing the radio memory. Issue still occurs and the warranty is about to run out. Has anyone experienced this issue?
