Saw a little bit about replacing stock rea shackles with the Dana Velvet Ride. Does it make a big diference on the ride?

My 06 GMC 1500 rides a little rougher than my 98 Silverado ever did.

Should I replace shocks too? What else igt I look at that someone has tried and liked?
