Hi Everyone....

I have a 95 chevy 6.5 diesel 5 speed manual 3500hd.... I have a rough idle deal, then about 15-30 seconds later it clears up, but if I hold it at 2000-2500rpms you can tell its still not right.im getting the blue and white smoke out of exhaust. I have a major loss of power, currently going up hills, I will be at 40-45mph in 4th gear and hating life....

I checked the ops and its working, I replaced anyway

I checked the lift pump and its working, I replaced anyway

I replaced the fuel filter with one from ssdieselsupply.com WALT

I bought new injectors after learning that all my symptoms are typically injectors, no luck with that either.

Im not sure what to do from here except take it to a diesel mech or dealership....

HELP PLEASE!!!

Rough idle or a miss? Are you getting fuel in the oil? If yes then you have a cylinder not firing. Most likely cause would be cracked head. Easiest way to find this is to use a tech2 scanner and turn off fuel to each cylinder and notice when no change occurs. You could also check compression in each cylinder with a diesel compatable gauge. Lastly, you can crank and run the engine with the intake manifold off. This will usually tell you which cylinder(s) are not working.

you got lite blue or white smoke?

all the time or just at idle?

generally a bad injector is bad all the time, wont cause white smoke which is indicative of incomplete combustion ( low compression).

if you have access to an infrared temp tester you can take temp readings on exhaust manifold at each exhaust port and see if you have a cold cylinder?

Hey steaky. Did yu forget to mention that only one time did a Walt have a problem with a filter that was manufactured by a seperate company? And I also dont see where you tell the story of how Walt, being a responsible business owner paid for the turbo out of his own pocket. Neither is mentioned that the customer was very satisfied with his experiance and said he would by from SSDieselSupply again.

Stop spreading your trash. Hows your scam business by the way?

Jeez, are you at it again? Leave these guys alone and quit trying to push your duracrap.buxhosting.junk on every website on the 'net.

SS Diesel sells good stuff. So do most other reputable vendors. If you're going to buy off the internet, make sure you get a street address (not a mailing address, there's a difference - some disreputable vendors work out of blind mailboxes)... make sure you can get a published phone number, and make sure they are registered with the State.

If you don't, you might get scammed like the other people who have dealt with GMDieseltech and A1 Customs.

Note that I don't give a s**t WHERE you buy, or who you buy from.

I just want you top protect yourself. If you really want to buy from GMdieseltech at a1customs, go right ahead, but you have been warned.

ALSO - don't confuse this fool with the REAL GMDIESELTECH, who can be found at www.gmdieseltech.com ... Ericis a good guy and a reputable vendor, and can answer all the above questions.

Well this thread is tame so far...at least GMdieseltech hasn't started his usual "ask himself a question from another forum username" banter...thats stuff is just too funny!

 yeah he is a concerned citizen and not a vendor or salesman, do NOT believe that! :D

hmm, again the :D post slander/libel, not even one verifiable report of an A1 customer having a problem, more than i can say for you vendors.

This :troll: posting here using aliases to read more about these guys go to

"scam.com" click on "internet scams" or search for "KennedyDiesel" or "SSDiesel"

This troll obviously cares where someone buys from or he would not be posting his lies.:eek:

David,

I have been following this "discussion" since it started up again on the DP board.

I have read where you have been asked numerous times to provide a WORKING phone number, and a verifiable street address.

All that I have ever seen you reply is with invective against those questioning your trustworthiness.

Now if I was in business, I would never hesitate to supply answers to those questions unless I was not what I said that I was or if I had something to hide.

Now, if you want to put all this BS to rest, POST YOUR CORRECT AND VERIFIABLE CONTACT INFORMATION! NO P.O. BOXES & NOT A MAIL DROP! SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU CAN BE FOUND IN PERSON DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS!! Don't start off on another tirade like you did above.

If you refuse or can't post that information in a reply to this post, them reasonable people will have reason to assume that you aren't what you hold yourself out to be.

Either you operate a legitmate business or you are a shyster.

The nature of your response will answer the above.

Take Care,

Britt

BTW, Happy motoring!

David,

BTW, don't try to claim that you didn't see my post. I know that you are notified each time someone posts on this thread.

I'm waiting.

WHERE exactly did I ever say I has a business???

Remember I am NOT that Eric Merchant guy who tires to make $s off my user name / tech help reputation!

Well,

Answering a question with a question while avoiding the issue. :D

I guess that answers my question about your veracity. :troll:

I was hoping for a non-evasive response from you.

The fact that you didn't state your phone & place of business leads me to believe what others are saying.

Since you don't "have a business", I guess that I will just have to buy my stuff from Kennedy.

Oh, Well,,,,, :D

Britt

BTW: HAPPY MOTORING

So was there a resolution to this matter?

Was this another ssdieselsupply problem???

There was a probem with one of their air filters failing and falling apart and sending metal parts in to the engine, I was unable to confirm if the matter was properly resolved, there seemed to be some kind of cover up going on...

The heads up topic here about seems to have been curiously removed also...

However it is still at SCAM.COM
