Cracked Door Handle Plastic

Noticed this today while washing my truck. Its on both sides same exact location. HMMM Anyone else have this happen? I have been thinking about new front speakers so it looks like I will put on some new handles while I am at it.

 

Anyone know part numbers? (pass side could have the no key option like on the 03s+)

Find a set of color matched handles on ebay and add look and new handles at the same time

no wanna stick with black to go with the black flares and trim and nerf bars

We haven't seen any of these style trucks door handles crack..yet! Yours is the first I've seen.

Now we saw a lot of the '88-'00 OBS trucks handles cracked alot.

Its not cracked through just like a tiny crack and on the drivers side what caught my eye or I probably wouldnt have seen it was it stuck out slightly and when I was washing my truck last night the towel snagged it. Checked the other side and the same exact thing in the same location. Its hardly noticable so when I get around to it I will replace.

Sure if you dont mind. Also my pass side has the hole for the key. Can the handle without the hole for the key be used?

I would imagine you could do away with the keyhole,I'm not sure though,I don't know anyone who's done it yet.

I will sell you my old door handles if you're interested, but they have keyholes on both sides.

I have a 2001 Chevy crew cab HD---

will the door handles work off of a 2003-07 on my 2001??

 

I want to go with the painted to match and chrome handle, but they are only offered for the 03-07 models.

They will work,Just remember...starting in '04 there is no keyhole on the passenger side door handle on trucks with the keyless entry system.
