TOW/HAUL

I went to use tow haul & nothing.

The light did not come on or anything.

I have not checked anything yet.

I don't know if this is a common problem.

I had the same problem on my 99' 1/2 ton. The wire that runs from the tow/haul button down the steering column broke in two from the constant moving of the shifter from P to D. Remove the shroud around your steering column and find the wire I am talking about. I would put money on it that yours did the same thing. It is becoming a common problem as these trucks start to age.
