01 yukon gage cluster swap

I want to swap the gage cluster in my 01 yukon for one with the trans temp gage in it. By swapping the cluster will the trans temp gage work automaticaly or do I need to hook up somtheng else?

Yeah, what he said. The only thing you need to worry about is the mileage. 2 ways to deal with the mileage change.

 

1> Put a sticker on the door jamb.

2> Have the new cluster programmed with the mileage from the old cluster.

 

I chose option 2 so my mileage would be accurate.

 

I went with an Escalade cluster and the trans temp started working immediately.
