To anyone with same problem,

I own a 95 Chevy s-10 w/ 4.3L. I'm wondering if anyone has came across the same problem as I. Rattle noise or knock occurring in the 2000-2500rpm range, under a moderate to heavy load, with warmed-up engine. It sounds like upper end so I proceeded and replaced the lifters and the problem is still there. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly apprecieated.

Thanks,

Mark

:D i had the same problem with the same vehicle. it is the counter balance shaft bearing under the intake manifold. there is a fix for it gm has it but they like to keep it quiet. i think they put in a counter balance shaft idler tensioner like on the serpentine belt. we tore mine down andtook out the shaft, put it back together & the noise was gone. re installed & it came back. sold the zr2 before they had the fix. hope this is of some help!!
