03 taillights.

Well, just got my new 03 taillights this morning, and they do fit no problem. The only problem is that you do need to buy a new harness that runs from the distribution block by the spare tire to each individual side, since they have different sockets and 4 bulbs instead of 3, other than that it was a straight forward install.

Could you tell us the part number for the taillights as well?

Thier the same for the 1500 as well correct?

8100HD--I tried a search and it said "no matches found", so I am having to post and ask--what are the numbers for the lenses?

I know you posted them, but I cannot find the post, now. I will have a chance to try and get some ordered Thursday or Friday.

Sorry for the bother, but I appreciate the help. btw-do you think a 2003 GMC would need a wiring harness or do you think the GMC and Chevy already share the same harness. I did not understand that part of the deal.

TxDoc, the 03 GMC will need the harness since it is still using the three bulb set-up.

GUYS...Was at the Chev. dealer getting a oil

change. They had 2 2003s. I was a 1500

base 4x4 with the bubble tail lights.

The other was a 03 3500 dura, allie, crew,

dual rear wheels loaded 41k. Get this it DID

NOT have the bubble taillights ! Whats up with

that ?........geo

Hmmm, 41K for a "03 3500 dura, allie, crew,

dual rear wheels loaded"? No wonder it doesn't have the cool tail-lamps... that seems a little on the light side for a vehicle like that considering what I have been seeing for the HD2500's loaded(LT, Duramax/Allison/CC).
