Things that drive you crazy

Ill start I have a ton just need to think of some

 

1. People who cut there grass and do not sweep or blow the clippings. They leave them on their neighbors walk, their walk/driveway, and in the street. Looks horrible. Neighbor next door did it tonight. I cut grass after work and edged. I swept and used my blower to get rid of clippings. After he cut his I have grass on my sidewalk and in the street! GRRRRR plus his weeds are starting to invade my yard.

 

2. People who do not pull up weeds that are in the sidewalk or street cracks. Takes 10 seconds to pull one up once you do it a few times they wont come back makes the neighborhood look bad.

Ah yes, my neighbor (referred to as "The Goof") who hides in the house all the time and had to be shown proper lawn mower operation when he first moved in despite being over 40, likes to cut the grass and just mulch it leaving clippings along the walk. He never edges and never trims along the foundation of his house which is sad because his lawn has come in with better color than mine and would look great with some effort.

I hear you guys though. It don't take that much effort to run a leaf blower on the sidewalks and such.

All of my neighbors have free run of my lawn equipment for these very reasons. They also know that I'll not let up, and keep giving them crap about it every time I see them if they don't keep up with their stuff.

 

When I fire up the edger, I edge the driveway and sidewalks of about 6 houses...And I usually mow my next door neighbors yard, just so it'll match mine.

 

I feel you man. I'm pretty laid back about most things...But not my yard.

What I don't get is.... If their yard looks like crap, what's the big deal?

 

 

Just makes yours look that much better, the way I see it.

Why do people still come to my door when I have a no solicitors sign by my front door? Also we have one at all the subdivision entrances (as of a few wks ago).

People who do not use cruise control on the highway. It would make traffic flow so much better plus save on gas (no fluctuating speeds). Cant stand when you have cruise on and as you are passing someone they seem to want to speed up.

I work hard to do my part to keep my little piece of the neighborhood looking nice.

 

It only takes a couple of yahoos to NOT take care of their sh*t, and it ultimately drops the value of other homes, including mine.

 

Plus...I don't want to look at it.

More cars than you think (like mine) don't have Cruise Control.... And that right foot does get tired after a while on the highway if you just keep it steady for good while.

 

 

 

I've got a couple.....

 

 

When you're minding your won business doing the speed limit in the RIGHT HAND LANE, and somebody behind you who has 2 empty lanes to their left, but yet you're in their way, so the flash the brights on you. That really chaps my skin, I swear the next person that does it is gonna get awindshield full of used skoal!

 

 

When you go to the movies and right before previews, they make the little speech about silencing your cell phones, and people make this "pfft" sound like it's a common sense thing, and yet 2 or 3 cell phones will ring during the dagone movie! AND 1 OUT OF THOSE 2 OR 3 WILL ANSWER!!!!!!!!!

I'll say something to those people. That's one of the few things I'll get nasty with a stranger about.

My last g/f answered her cell in a theater...I reached over, took it away, and hung it up. Wouldn't give it back to her either.

My mom will yell obsceneties at the people, when were out at the movies. It's a wonder she don't get arrested or into a fight herself.

The first thing that gets my goat is someone not using the turn signals that they paid for on their car and or truck!!! Nothing like going down the road and you watch them not even look in the mirrors you know those shinny things on the outside of the car or truck.

Then the next is after they don't use their signals they need to stop to make a right hand turn, now I'm not saying they need to make it on 2 wheels but good gosh you can turn almost any truck faster than 2 MPH!!!
